Personality:
Neuro is many things, and described in many ways. Very few of them would be anything nice. Outwardly, around other people, he acts very... 'Fake'. Some times he seems quite pleasantly amiable. On other occasions he has been known to feign innocence, or play dumb especially where Yako or odd coincidences are concerned. Most of the time it works quite well, but a sharp enough person or someone who is good at reading the atmosphere might be able to see past this ruse.
Beyond that, Neuro is truly a dark, sadistic individual. He delights in torturing those he deems as lower beings. However, said 'lower beings' that fall victim to his ways, all seem to consist of people he appears to find most useful for various reasons. It some times seems as if he sees honest potential for significant growth in an individual, simply perhaps because of the fact that they are very easy to manipulate and boss around through scare tactics. His some times careless, thoughtless attitude toward others may be born of his obvious feelings of superiority and the fact that he just doesn't seem to understand human emotions.
As an incredibly clever individual, he often appears to have a deep set desire to figure things out, and is always distracted by being on the look out for something more complex and difficult to entertain his brain. His mind is often focused entirely on finding the 'ultimate mystery'. What that is, or what it might be like, the demon doesn't often elaborate on. But, it probably would satisfy his unending hunger. What he expects to do after that is left up to speculation. If it doesn't interest him, he will probably ignore it entirely and deem it a waste of time unless forced to pay attention (Often by way of Yako). His idea of 'interesting' and yours may often enough differ quite a bit...
All in all, his eccentricities run deep.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
♛Highly Intelligent: Neuro is very clever and seems to have a knack for figuring things out. He is very good at deduction and the rate that his brain seems to process facts and narrow things down is really quite alarming some days.
♛Good with technology: Due to his talents, Neuro is incredibly good with most forms of technology. He doesn't take long to figure things out, and will make use of them whenever he can.
♛Adept at figuring out how things work: Neuro is VERY good at taking things apart. He delights in doing so, because it usually makes a light snack at best. He once took an entire car apart, down to the last piece, within five minutes due to yako being late. However, he may not always care enough to put them back together... He already knows how after taking it apart, why bother?
♛Using People: Neuro is good at using people and making use of their talents through manipulation, or fear... Quite often fear if he isn't concerned about them knowing his true nature.
♛Seeing Potential in Others: As stated above, Neuro is good at making use of people and their talents. He can see honest potential in growth, and at times is known to do what ever he can to bring it about (No, it's not nice. It's pretty damn cruel if Yako has anything to say about it).
♛Emotionally Unattached: Neuro doesn't really get attached to people. So if something happens to them, he probably wont get depressed. Mind you, he might be very pissed off that his property has been messed with. It makes him more objective through cases, and he isn't afraid to explore possibilities that others would be less likely to approach (And more likely to doubt) without heavy research.
♙Doesn't Understand Human Emotions: Neuro doesn't seem to have a very good understanding of human emotions, in fact he doesn't understand them at all. (And honestly, it is unlikely that he has bothered trying to do so.) They baffle him, why someone might be sad, or angry, why something that disinterests him makes someone else so incredibly happy. All that has ever really mattered to the demon is how something was done, not why. But... As time passes, perhaps he can learn a little more, and has been minutely inspired to do so by a certain ameoba...
♙Over Confident: Neuro is INCREDIBLY over confident, so much so that he can underestimate those around him... But, when it comes down to it, he enjoys being pleasantly surprised by humans in comparison to the cases and mysteries he dealt with in the demon world.
♙Losing what makes him, him: Another weakness would be the fact that not only was the demon slowly becoming human as his body adjusted to the human world, he will find things a great deal more difficult now that he is in this world (The first time he tries to summon a demonic tool or walk on a ceiling should prove interesting). He will find himself even less durable than he had been noticing of late. His power level has already decreased quite a bit due to becoming more mortal (and as it stands currently, he hasn't had a good mystery in a little while, his last meal was interrupted by X).
♙Fake: Neuro is very fake some times, he acts friendly and innocent, but exudes an incredibly dark, crazy, imposing aura. It is probably a great deal more noticeable without his worm to hide behind.
♙Insanity: Neuro is comes off as being quite insane some times when it gets down to it. Intelligent, but sadistically insane. He doesn't care what he has to do to get something done, he could end up ending himself in pursuit of the ultimate mystery. But to him, it's always worth it. But quite possibly not to those around him.
